Xiaomi Redmi 1s was launched in India in September 2014 at price tag of Rs6000. According to me no phone can beat it. But let's see of yogh like it of not.
Build and Design
The device has a very nice design and form, its not a iPhone but at its price, it has a very nice design. It's back cover is replaceable just like a moto g, and we can also buy many different coloured back covers for it as per your liking. It's body is made out of plastic, but unlike other Chinese phones, it has a very sturdy and strong build. The screen is protected by AGC Dragon Trail Glass which is as goog as a corning gorilla glass and its touch is very nice. Volume buttons are placed on the right side, with power button placed just under it, which are easily reachable. On the bottom edge of the phone the USB Port and the primary Mic are placed. Above, you will find the earphone jack present on the right side. On the back side, the camera is placed in the top center with an LED flash placed just below it. On top of the camera is present the secondary Mic is present for noise cancelation with the speaker on the right side of the camera. The camera lens has a rectangular shape which lokks very nice. Below the screen, are present the home, back and options button which are touch sensitive, but they are not backlit. But under good sunlight the red coloured shine very nicely. The edges of the phone are curved makes it very easy to hold. However its weight is slightly on the higher side and might be problem for some.

The device comes with tons of features and nice quality hardware. The best feature of the device is its SoC, which is a Qualcomm Snapdragon with 1.6 GHz Quadcore CPU equipped with an Adreno 305 GPU along with 1 gigabytes of RAM. Redmi 1s has a 4.7" IPS LCD screen which has a resolution of 1280×720(312ppi) which is protected by AGC DragonTrail Glass. Its camera is manufactured by Sony which is a8 MP shooter with a wide f2.2 aperture and a 1.6 MP front camera. The main camera can shoot 1080p@30fps while the front one shoots 720p. The phone is powered by a 2100 mah battery which is removable. Other than this the phone has dual mini SIM ports out of which 1 is 3G while the other is 2G. Redmi 1S has internal memomory of 8 GB out of which 5.71 GB is usable and can be exbandable via a micro SD card slot up to 64 GB.
